Carving out craft time has become a bit of a challenge recently. My goal was to have my samples created and posted at least a week ago for February’s Online Stamp of the Month Class. Time has flown by and I find myself cramming the day before the deadline like I did when I was in College. Some things never change!

The stamp set I chose for February is Honey Bee. This is such an adorable and versatile set. As you can see from my last post, I am having a ton of fun creating with it. My hope is that you will love it as much as I do!

For those who are not aware of how my Online Stamp of the Month classes work. I will post all the details below, but first I would like to show you the samples that I have created for this months class.

Firstly, this bold and fun card uses many of the coordinating dies (which are an option to add to your kit this month) as well as the Golden Honey Designer Series Paper. You can find this paper in the Sale-A-Bration brochure. What a great pairing for this super cute card!

February Online Stamp of the Month

One of the cards attendees will be creating from the comfort of their own homes this month.

Secondly, I drew inspiration from a card by Artisan Design Team Member Jan Clottier who took a piece of Golden Honey designer series paper and sponged it to create an eye catching effect. The ombre like effect I sponged on my card was super easy to do as you will see when you watch the tutorial this month.

Following a bit of creative play, I came up with 2 versions of a card.  Class attendees will choose which one they would like to create. Supplies for both cards will be included in each kit. Please cast your vote in the comments below and let me know which card you prefer. Will it be card A or card B?

Attendees will choose which card they would like to create when they receive their supplies.

I hope you will consider joining me for an upcoming stamp of the month class!

February Online Stamp of the Month Class

February Online Stamp of the Month Online includes your own copy of the Honey Bee stamp set along with the supplies and instructions to make 2 great cards. You will be using your own inks and adhesives. I will post in the Facebook group each month any additional supplies that may be needed such as markers, sponges, etc. This month you have the option to choose to include the coordinating framelits with your kit. The addition of the framelits is entirely optional and is not required to complete your projects or to create additional projects. The framelits are a great compliment to the stamp set. They can eliminate the need for fussy cutting and simplifies the process and ensures success.

You can choose to pick up your kit supplies for $35 if you are local or you can choose to have your kit mailed to you for $40. The price of the kit WITH the framelits is $68.

SOTM members will be sent a link to a Facebook group where a video with instructions for assembling your cards will be posted each month. You will be able to ask questions in the group and have access to samples of alternate ways to use your new stamp set. You are also welcome to share your creations with the group. That’s half the fun!

Please RSVP with payment by EMT to krissie-76@hotmail.com on or before February 4 to be included.

Registrations received after this date cannot be guaranteed to arrive within the month of February as the stamp sets have to be sent to me to be packaged before your kits can be shipped out to you.

Registration to past months is available as long as the stamp sets are still current. Please contact me for more information.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have to commit to a set number of months? No. You can join for as many, or as few months as you like. Try it once and see what you think.

Do you know what the stamp set is ahead of time? Yes. I try to post the stamp sets a couple months ahead of time so that you can pick and choose which months you would like to join based on which stamp sets you would like to own.

Will the projects be displayed ahead of time? I do my best to post the samples ahead of time. Some months, like this one, I just squeak in before the registration deadline. More often than not, at least one card sample is displayed earlier. I know you are excited to see what we will be creating and I am excited too.

Where can I view which stamp sets will be used for the next couple months? I post the upcoming Stamp of the Month classes as events on my Facebook page The Simcoe County Stamper  The stamp sets that will be used in the upcoming months are

March – Under My Umbrella $40

April – Dressed to Impress $40 or $75 for the bundle with coordinating Framelits.
